Saturday Night
It’s 9pm and we’re still wide awake.
We’re waiting until our food gets down completely, we ate too much, we had chicken, corn and rice for dinner and a slice of Chocolate satin pie for dessert yumm!
now we both feel like puking hehe (excuse us) Husband is listening to music while toying around his project as well and me still trying to figure out how the site works, aww I can’t seem to find how to add some widgets such as, my comment box, mybloglog, and so many other things I’d like to add so I have ideas who are visiting my page, can somebody help me please? I know I get stupid sometimes, but it’s because I’m all new to this so please bear with me guys.
Enya’s Hope Has a Place is currently playing on MusicChoice soundscapes, Sappy songs are playing and it’s making me emotional too. Hubby is a big music freak, gosh he knows millions of songs I’ve never heard before, in fact I have forgotten all the songs I used to like and used to listen to back when I was in the Philippines. I don’t even know what the current songs are unless i browse them on the internet. The good thing of it is since I don’t get to hear the songs that made me cry back when i was young, hehe I don’t miss the things I used to do in the Philippines, places I used to go because there’s nothing to remind me.
ahhh… Vivian Khor’s Passion Sage, instrumental, i feel like jumping on the bed and hug my pillow and just cry, sad tunes :-(( i miss my mom (she’s in heaven now)
It was gloomy out all day, typical CNY setting in winter. It is supposed to snow today but glad it didn’t it was cold though when we went out just walking to the car is so brrrr. 30F not too bad better than below zero.
I am just taking advantage of weekends when I can spend time with my blog, I am supposed to work on my project though but just cant make my brain work! But I know sooner or later I could come up with an artistic approach and take one slow stride at a time.

Fine Dine by the Lake
Last Sunday January 6, we went out for a dinner, all for of us, my stepdaughter, her friend, my hubby and myself, to celebrate an important day in my husband’s life. We went to this place by the lake called The Brewster Inn, (on my stepdaughter) it is magnificent especially at night, not only that, the food is awesome, you’d always crave for any foods they have but it’s a little expensive, but honestly with the quality of the foods they serve its not expensive at all. I had a Truffle Encrusted Big Eye Tuna w/ spinach which I have been craving for the past few days prior to this, and of course I can never miss out their Island rice that still makes me drool when I think about it, I would want to dine at that place again soon. But oh, I didn’t mention it’s been 7 months since we celebrated our wedding on the same place. They also offer rooms at the penthouse so if you want to have a little getaway you could stay for a few night and enjoy the subtle foods. We really didn’t plan our wedding and we ended up getting married by the lake on the same shoreline, then we had a simple reception and toasted for a good life at this splendid and grandly situated fine dining. Great food, outstanding service and cozy place.

Up for a really looonnnggg week.
I just hung up the phone talking to my manager on my second job regarding my fixed schedule next week 30hours a week, 37 1/2 on the first one. Almost 70hrs a week! So help me God.
Why am I doing this? We’re not on a tight budget at home, my main goal is to push myself to the limit, discover my potentials and be prolific. I feel like I am competing with my husband’s earning, hehe no, not even close. I just want to be productive on my own way but don’t get me wrong I am not killing myself ok? Just a little.
The most exciting part of it is counting my earnings and savings at the end of the week, not only that I want to earn more but I also minimized my expenditures, no time for shopping anymore, too tired to walk around the mall for hours with all the shopping bags yanking me. Those are just few of the advantages of working more hours. The sad disadvantage is, we cant eat dinner together anymore, I can’t prepare dinner as well and I won’t be home when my husband gets home
And by the time I get home I’m just gonna have to grab a bite of dinner and then go to bed, how sad is that?

Mid of January
Wow, I can’t believe how time flies, I just look at the clock and it reads four past 3 in the afternoon. I felt like I just started the day although we’ve already been to the mall, did some shopping and had my hair cut. When I got home I cleaned the house a little bit updated on my project a little as well but here it is the day is almost over.
First time in the US I had my hair cut. It has grown really long down to my waist and I wanted some change, I wanted to have it done before the new year steps on but, man, too busy and finally got a chance today. Had some lunch too before we head back home and as soon as we got home me both jumped on the computer. We know hubby had to work on his new project and I had to try to try to take a little stride on mine as well. Aww I thought we could have a break, well, not totally but at least we’re together at home.
But we could only do our best on what we have time left for each other. So to all you guys with the same schedule as I have, and everyone else enjoy!

Happy Saturday Eveyone!
Well, I guess you could relate on how happy I am today. Why? Because it’s weekend! My favorite part of the week. #1 because I get to stay up a little late in bed and snuggle and talk and just relax rather than the usual morning when I have to walk to the bathroom with my eyes half-closed and turn the shower knob and wake myself up with a nice and warm water dripping on me then I’m awake. But on Sundays and Saturdays we wake up at about 6am that’s late for us (still early but better than 4:30). we can’t just stay in bed too late because we’re both early birds and get headaches if we have too much sleep.
Started the day easy, walked the dog and while hubby walks the dog I made the bed and proceeded on preparing breakfast. We always have pancakes on Saturdays and today i cooked bacon, by the time he gets back, his coffee is ready and breakfast is all set! What a nice day to spend breakfast with your loved ones right?
Ahhh, nothing beats the time when you are with your family even thoug I boldly admit that I love being at work because it makes me happy and feel productive, especially on payday, hehe but I could never trade the time being with hubby.
Ok, I’ll be backĀ in a little while I’ll have to do some wifely duties heheh, some house chores that I only have time to do on weekends *sigh* thanks to my ever patient loving understanding husband who always understands me and do the other things I can’t do at home.
