Tornadoes In Oklahoma
Good thing I live in Central New York, one advantage of our location is we don’t get tornadoes and hurricane or any disasters like that. The only thing here is we get too many snow during the winter and too cold, brrrr!
A twister destroyed three barns at a hog farm near Lacey in Kingfisher County, about 75 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, said Michelann Ooten, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Emergency Management Department.
No injuries were reported at the farm or elsewhere in the state.
“It’s all been out mostly in the countryside,” Kingfisher County Sheriff’s dispatcher Lonnie McDade said. “But that farm happened to be in the path and took a direct hit.”
John Hardaway, a production manager at the farm, said the 3,900 pigs housed at the farm were kept in crates and most were not hurt.
In Garfield County, a trailer was blown onto State Highway 74 near Covington and power lines were downed, said the county’s emergency manager, Mike Honigsberg.

Starlet Lindsay Lohan’s liplock with DJ buddy Samantha Ronson is causing quite a stir on this side of the pond. The pair were snapped in an intimate embrace at a party on P. Diddy’s yacht at the Cannes Film Festival in southern France. This is the latest show of affection between the buds, who spurred tabloid buzz with a trip to Paris together a week ago.
Lindsay’s little sis Ali vented to Extra! about rumors of a romance. “They’re best friends,” she said. “It’s pathetic what people say.” Ronson was also with Lohan a year ago when Lohan was snapped passed out durring Memorial Day Weekend. Details…

Orange vs. Cavaliers
We are watching the tight battle of Syracuse Orange vs. Virginia Cavaliers. I could feel my husband’s voice penetrates the wall as his screams echo as if he’s the coach. Yelling at the players hoping they hear him, and desperately. The first 3 quarters were a little tight gripped to watch and unbearable for the Orange’s fans. Cavaliers seem to take advantage of the weak Orange defense. I’ve seen these kids play aggressively against other opponents, won the game with Duke. And in Mass. they are playing right now. I am teeth clenched even though I don’t yell and get too emotional because I don’t easily get over frustration so I try not to get too carried away. [3rd quarter] On 6:15 mins left, Syracuse 9 - Virginia 11. I hope to God Orange wins. 3:00 mins left they scored TIE. They started to pick up their speed on the last quarter and gained back confidence.
Someone is getting really excited and apprehensive at the same time here. Nervous as hell!
